How We Help, Start to Finish
Our process carries a tree preservation project from initial contact through final approval:
- Site Assessment. Todd Krellner visits the site or reviews the plans and identifies every protected and Special Tree that could affect the project.
- Tree Preservation Plan. We prepare your Tree Preservation Plan and submit it to DDOT’s Urban Forestry Division (DC) or the reviewing county agency in Maryland or Northern Virginia.
- Permit Approval. We track your submission, respond to DDOT reviewer comments, and carry the plan through approval, including resolution of any stop-work order already issued.
- On-Site Protection. We install and monitor tree protection measures from groundbreaking through completion to protect the trees and keep the project on schedule.
A single point of contact manages the plan, the permit, and site monitoring.
